Text-link-ads.com is a site I discovered back at the end of June and since then I have made approx $460 from them, simply by putting some code on my site once and then forgetting about it plus plugging my referral URL here and there. I genuinely recommend this program to anyone with a website.
There are 3 kinds of accounts at text-link-ads.com:
Advertisers: This is where you go if you want to buy adverts on other peoples sites, rather then sell them.
Publisher: This is where you list your site to sell adverts. How it works is that you are given a bit of code to paste on to your pages, you can customise it to look exactly how you want…so you can have the displayed adverts blend totally in to your layout, once the code is on your site that’s all you have to worry about, everything else is taken care of their end….when someone picks your site to place their link on it will automatically appear, if no one buys a link then simply nothing will show up. The amount you get paid per link depends on many things and text-link-ads take half of the money, the more traffic, higher Google Page Rank and Alexa ranking you have the more your ads will sell for.
Affiliate: This is where the vast majority of my earnings with this program has come from, referring people. When you sign up you will get a unique URL which you give to people, once they sign up you get $25…the great thing about this is that unlike with most of these kinds of programs you actually really do get $25 just for someone signing up and being accepted into the Publisher program (you don’t get anything if they sign up just to become an affiliate themselfs), they don’t have to spend any money for you to get it, they don’t have to earn any money for you to get it etc.
Pay day is the start of every month and they will pay you via either paypal or check.
