Wordless Wedneday: Crocs

I am going to cheat this Wordless Wednesday and include words, gasp. The reason I am posting this as my picture today, is because I am considering buying some…I need comfy shoes for walking and would like to get some before I go on holiday, but my question is do they need to be actual brand name Crocs or will any version do? They sell identical looking ones in town for like £3 a pair, would those be wonderfully comfortable because it’s the design and style that makes them…or would they be worthless rubbish and I need to buy better quality more expensive ones?

The Cottage

Gav and I went to see a film on Tuesday last week, The Cottage, worst.film.ever! I think it was a combination of it not generally being my sort of film (Horror/Comedy) and it actually having a shit plot and being very poorly acted. Jennifer Ellison played the part of the step daughter of a rich criminal who was kidnapped and taken to…a cottage, a word of advice for Jennifer Ellison – don’t give up the day job – *remembers acting is her day job* err well, you get my point.
Her part consisted of her basically letting her lovely ample boobs bounce around while telling every one to ‘Fuck off you fucking c**ts’ – I am a swearer myself, but it was just so constant that even I felt embarrassed by it, there was a little old lady sat in front of us (I wonder if she thought it was going to be a nice little film about a nice little cottage in the country?) and I kept cringing on her behalf. Things then turn gory as they encounter a monstrous and indeed murderous farmer, who proceeds to bludgeon them to death in many different and unpleasant ways.

The only plus side of the film was that it was free, as are all films these days – thanks to me discovering free preview screenings and sites like SeeFilmFirst.com a few months ago. Honestly I can’t imagine actually paying £5 each to go see a film these days, in recent months we have seen: Death at a Funeral, The Bucket List, 27 Dresses, The Other Boleyn Girl, The Bank Job, Juno, Definitely Maybe, Walk Hard and Dan in Real Life. And in the coming weeks we have tickets for Ealing Comedy and Drillbit Taylor.

In other news – Twitter Thursday wasn’t nearly as interesting as I imagined it would be, partly because I didn’t do much of any thing yesterday and partly because actually…it’s a blah idea, so we shall have to wait and see if that returns. I enjoyed Wordless Wednesday though, but I seriously need to discover some new free photo sites, searching google images just doesn’t cut it. I know of Flickr and FreeFoto.com, any others out there?

I nipped to Asda yesterday with a friend and picked up a super cute new handbag – 50p. Yes 50p for a handbag, it’s a wee silver meshy thing, noiiiice.

Well thank you for your lovely comments on the new design, mmm *sniffs* I love the smell of new layout – makes Swaymyway.com feel all shiny and new

I still have some tweakings to do, I have 100s of smilies to upload to my wordpress and codes to remember for their short cuts etc, because at the moment all my old entries are littered with :heart: :shrug: etc rather than images, doh. I also need to decide if the ‘Ask’ script is returning or not, at the moment I am thinking no, it had become a bit redundant and a pain in the bottom – but I still kinda like it so we shall see.

Apparently I don’t have the comment plugger installed correctly or something though, because I don’t see any of you commenters plugged. I shall have to look into that.

In order to ensure I blog on a regular basis I am going to have some regular features here at Swaymyway.com, such as Wordless Wednesday – where I will just post an image that is either interesting, or describes how I feel, what I am doing etc, no words. There’ll be Twitter Thursday where I will basically post my twitter feed here and resolve to up date it every time I so much as fart – a nice one for those with stalker tendencies! There will also be my weekly TV round up, where I will talk about anything noteworthy that happened in any of my favourite shows that week. FUN TIMES.

In other news, my mummy looks like a mummy – literally, she had to have an operation on her legs today and she’s returned from the hospital bandaged literally from her toes to her hips, I shouldn’t laugh I know but she’s fine and is funny, bless her.

Today there is meant to be a super storm in the UK, the news and weather people have been going on about it for ages – I love wild weather, it’s one of the reasons winter is my favourite season, what fun is summer – hot, sunny, pollony = snooze. Winter is where it’s at, wind, rain, snow, thunder, lightening, fog, mist, ice, sleet = much more fun. It has apparently already hit the South of the country and Wales but hasn’t made it up North where I am yet, it’s raining a little bit, but that’s not exactly interesting – I hope it isn’t a big let down, usually when the UK weather people are reporting big things, they don’t happen, UK weather people suck ha.
