I put money on England to win yesterday on one site, and money on them to lose on another – can’t lose that way, right? Well no, wrong. Silly me forgot to take into account the possibility of a draw – how very annoying.

I have a long list of Free Casino, betting and bingo sites that I love. I am definitely boring when it comes to it though, I’d rather try and win a tenner by playing 10p games than blow my entire deposit on one game and try win a hundred.

Mine was pretty smashing – I got to spend the whole thing with my boy for the first year ever, he usually goes out drinking on Christmas Eve and I don’t see him until he’s sobered up the next day at any point between 2pm – 10pm! This year he decided to stay home and play with me instead, aww.

We spent most of our time doing a Simpsons jigsaw that I bought him, we’re so rock n roll.

New Years Eve was a bit of a washout, he had to work late and I didn’t feel like going out getting wasted with my friends so I just stayed home on my own – but that’s OK, I am not that into NYE – people try to hug you and stuff *shudder*.

In online land…Page Rank update a few days ago and I lost rank on most of my other blogs, but I got it back here and on RealityTVFan.org – my PRs were removed over 2 years ago now when google first started hitting people who did paid posting (I never did it here on Swaymyway.com but it got spanked by association!). It feels strange, I had long since given up any hope they’d give it me back.

I am also spending today working on a new site about TV, though I am not 100% sure what I am doing with it yet – I had the option to buy an .eu for 12p so of course I had to snap it up.

So updates, updates, updates…erm…I probably bought several more domains since the last time I blogged. That seems to be my ‘thing’ these days, buying and developing domains and then either raking in the money myself or selling them on. It’s a lot of fun, but also takes up 90% of my online time.

I didn’t even have time for the forum for while, but have become active again now so if you are ever missing a bit of Starlet in your life, you know where to go!

I lost a load more weight. Gav and I are still floating each others boats and I am currently super excited because Britain’s Biggest Loser starts in two weeks. I have watched the USA (I hate this season, what a bunch of uninspiring group they are!) and Australian ones for years, but the UK axed it back in 2004 so it’s awesome that it’s back

Edit: Dang, I am so rusty I posted this as a ‘page’, then spent 5 minutes trying to work out where the hell the post I just wrote had gone and why it wasn’t appearing on my blog. Dur.

Ended up getting it for £50 with discounts, so bargain central.

It arrived today but is not yet opened.

I am also on the verge of buying a new mobile phone, you guys might remember that I used to buy new phones all the time — I’d get bored really quickly and usually sell my old one and get a new one about every 6 months! I can’t remember how long I have had my current one, but it’s been a loooooong time for me, maybe even more than two years.

It’s now stopped working properly though, the buttons only seem to work half the time — so I have no choice but to get a new one even though I would rather not, I can’t find one that makes me fall in love with it so it pains me to have to get a new one just for the sake of it!

I have almost decided on the LG Cookie but want to wait until I have seen it ‘in person’ before getting it. I have never had a touch screen one before.

In other news, any of you delightful graphically talented people fancy making me a header image for UK Bargains? So far I have paid two people to design one for me and paid 1 person with ECs in the Entrecard Market and they have produced…shit…so my budget is pretty much all used up, and I am now scrounging a freebie

I just want it to fit in with the colours of the template, be around 800×100 in size, have the words ‘UK Bargains’ on it and some sort of related image(s) such as shopping bags, pound sign (£), shopping trolley, browser window etc etc

Another month has passed since I last blogged and I sunk further and further into my new status as awful website abandoner.

The funny thing is that it’s not like I am spending less time online, or have the excuse that I have more important things to do — it’s just that I run so many other sites that somewhere along the way Swaymyway.com became low down on my list of online things to do.

I’d promise I am going to revive it, make it a new years resolution to blog at least a few times per week. But I’d be lying to ya

So some general stuff.

Dreamhost confirmed they won’t be giving me a refund for the 6 months of unused but paid for hosting. It does state this in their terms and always has done so I don’t have a leg to stand on in terms of complaining — but I will be spreading the word to any one and every time I see Dreamhost mentioned that no one should ever prepay with them, you may save a few bucks in the short term but it’s not worth the risk that 1 month after you’ve paid up they decide their archaic servers can’t handle your website any more and ask you to either stump up for dedicated hosting or sod the hell off — then it’s goodbye to all that lovely cash you just paid.

Down with Dreamhost, spread the word dudes!

* I got a lovely Christmas bonus on Monday so I went out and did what any respectable woman would do — I bought a fancy party dress, some underwear and three pairs of shoes in the sale
* I can’t believe it’s Christmas Eve already, it has sure come by quick. I am usually way more excited than this.
* I am very excited that Celebrity Big Brother begins in just over a weeks time.
* This is wrong on so many levels:

Who starts their sale on Christmas Day? Come on now, Christmas day is for lounging in front of the telly, enjoying the gifts you have received, getting a little squiffy.

It is not for sitting at your computer browsing online sales. Is nothing sacred any more?

What sucks however, is the fact I will be one of the sad nacks who cannot resist the lure of the mighty post Christmas sale and will probably end up spending a good portion of my day online — curse you sale loving gene, cuuurrrssseee youuuu!

Here’s what I would rather google spent their time and efforts doing, making GBay — though they’d obviously come up with a better name for it. I am sick to death of EBay and their extortianate fees, arrogant attitude and monopoly on the market. Google are in my opinion the only people big enough to bring out an alternative that could be as big as Ebay, knock them down a peg or two!
