Review: 911.com
Posted by admin on December 7th, 2008 filed in ReviewsOne of my good friends is very big into his music, and I don’t mean like you or I where we hear a song and like it so go out and buy the album — he actually knows about music and has the most wide taste of any one I have ever known. Most of the time when he’s talking about music it is going completely over my head.

Earlier, I came across a website called 991.com - a specialist in Deleted Records, CDs, Rare Vinyl Records and Memorabilia that has an expert team of professional buyers at your service to track down that “Missing piece” or “One you haven’t got”. Recently they acquired a lot of pristine vinyl LPs, over 700 in fact covering all kinds of genres from the 60s and 70s. They got them from a guy called Weston Taylor who was a News of the World journalist and all round entertainment impresario — a guy who loved music, giving new artists a chance and had a penchant for movie soundtracks. It is quite a remarkable collection, and amazing that these vinyls have remained in such good condition for over 50 years.
You can view the entire Weston Taylor Collection on 991.com.
