Review: Network Solutions Web Design Service

I have been running websites now for what seems like forever, I believe I had my first ever site on Geocities back in 1999 — how times flies! I always used to design my own layouts, it was something I really enjoyed doing, but over the last few years I’ve started to rely heavily on free templates, this is partly down to me losing my interest in the design aspect of running websites and partly down to the fact that there are so many really great free templates available these days.

Free templates are great for sites like this one, a site that is intended to be somewhat personal, informative and friendly — but for a professional site, not so much. Professional sites need to look like they mean business, and having a template that 1000s of other sites on the Internet use does not give that impression in my opinion.

If I were to ever need a professional web design I’d be looking for someone who could create it for me.

Network Solutions is a very well known name in the web development area, so I was pleased to see they now also provide custom web design services. A lot of web design companies are people you’ve never heard of before, so it’s good to know that such a known and reliable service is available — I’d have no qualms about choosing them to do the job for me. They offer either standard or premium design services and you can view their portfolio directly on the website to see what creations they have already provided for others!
