I don’t claim to have the perfect diet, but I eat pretty darned healthily these days – you don’t lose almost 7 stone by eating cheese sandwiches and chocolate every day.
However the main focus of my diet is ‘low calories’, which means I will often turn my nose up at food that’s actually good for you because I know I can feel fuller with something that is much lower in calories.
So I am always on the look out for cheap supplements and vitamins and the like to help me make sure I am getting all the nutrients I need.
I was definitely missing out on vitamin C for a while a few months ago, I had terrible skin and was bruising like a peach – which is ironic as it was a lack of fruit that was causing the problems. I’ve never been a huge fruit fan – but I started taking some multivitamins and have slowly introduced more fruit (Pineapple juice, grapes and a satsuma every day) to my diet and now the issues are gone.
I have also recently started looking at whey protein. Whey protein can help you perform better when you are working out, and anything that can help me run longer and burn more calories during a work out is good by me

I don’t know much about supplements and vitamins.. I think my Dad tried to get as much as he could into me as I was growing up, but I soon dropped it all
