So, another exciting Starlet update – I’m moving house in a few months time – hurrah.

Gav and I are finally biting the bullet and moving in together, something we’ve wanted to do for a long time (we’ve been together 7 years next month!) but simply couldn’t afford to do until now.

Aside from all the obvious reasons this is super exciting, I think I am most looking forward to buying bedroom furniture…and living room furniture…and kitchen appliances…and…and…and….everything else we are going to need. I’ve been looking forward to getting my first place that needs kitting out from head to toe since I was about 14 years old – I had dreams of becoming an interior designer as a teenager and it’s taken 16 years but I finally get to act it out

Although we won’t be moving for at least another three months I already have a bookmarks folder full of links to various sites that sell living room furniture and everything else we will need at bargain prices. We’ll still be on a tight budget, it’s not like we’ve won the lottery – so planning in advance and keeping our eyes out for killer deals is essential.

Bargain shopping combined with interior design combined with finally flying the nest – could this get any better?
