Since my last main update I had a birthday – March 20th 2010 I turned the big three-oh. Boo.
I am sure there’s not a woman on the planet who wants to turn 30. And since I turned 30 I am convinced I’ve got old over night. I see things now that probably aren’t really there – like looser skin, wrinkles on my forehead, grey hairs etc.
Also every time I get an ache or pain I blame my age. When I get into bed at night I moan and groan in pleasure like I am 100 because I get to rest my aching and tired bones. What I would really love is one of the Memory foam mattresses some of my friends had, I have heard about memory foam mattresses before of course but having never used one I didn’t really understand the appeal or why someone would pay extra for one – that all changed after I stayed over at my friends recently, my word those things are divine!
Unfortunately a full memory foam mattress isn’t on the cards right now as we have no spare pennies to afford such luxuries. But you can apparently get mattress toppers which are thinner (and cheaper) versions that sit on top of your existing mattress and offer a similar effect.
Mattress topper shopping here we come – these old bones of mine will be very grateful

On getting old – I’ve been noticing more grey hairs over the last couple of years, nearly reaching double figures now. That, coupled with hair loss.. Don’t think there’s a memory foam mattress that can solve that
I’m barely a year older than you!
Here’s looking to 31 in July, things can’t get any worse, can they?
