I just finished a mammoth wrapping session, I am seriously knackered now. 2 hours it’s just taken me to wrap about 10 items, plus I did an hour last weekend - I wish I could celebrate the fact that I am officially done, but I can’t because I haven’t, I still have 2 more things to wrap…once they arrive *looks at date* ….crap, I hope they arrive in time, it’s 2 ‘main’ pressies :g:

The thing is I wish I could proudly now show off my beautifully wrapped presents and make people go ‘Oooh’ and ‘Aaaah’ in wonder, but I am officially the worst present wrapper in the world, plus I hate it, I hate spending money on things I don’t have to spend it on - but I’d willingly pay someone to wrap all my Xmas pessies and make them pretty. I actually tried really hard as well, I wrapped most stuff in my usual unstylish manner, but I took the time and care to do one for each person ‘properly’ with uber shiny and sparkly paper, ribbon, tags, bows etc - they still look like they were wrapped by a 5 year old. Oh well, it’s the thought that counts, right?

I also did 55 minutes cardio tonight, which adds to the knackeredness. But it’s surprising how easy it’s become for me, when I first got my Elliptical a few months ago, I could handle about 20 minutes doing a gentle plod along before dieing and stopping before I pass out. Now I can do 55 minutes going at it hard, and only really stop because I am bored or I have pins and needles in my feet :biting: Don’t get me wrong, it’s not ‘easy’ - that’s a bad choice of words, I sweat like a betty, I grunt and groan, I wail that I want to diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeee, but It’s easy to stick at it rather than give up at the first opportunity!

I had a slight blip a few weeks ago, where I inexplicably gained 3lbs - but that’s come off again within the last 2 weeks (+1lb) so that’s OK, though it does mean I have buckleys chance of getting down to the (mini) goal I had set myself to be before Xmas, unless I some how manage to lose 3lbs in the next 4 days - which isn’t going to happen, given it takes me about a month to lose 3lbs!

Oh well, it’s still going in the right direction, I feel I am making progress at last, I feel healthier….I just need to be very careful to not allow myself to go crazy over Xmas and New Year & make sure I don’t use it as an excuse to ditch the working out.

In other news, any Reality TV fans in the house? This American writers strike is a brilliant thing for us reality fans huh? The Biggest Loser 4 literally just finished on Thursday and already season 5 starts in 2 weeks. Big Brother is having an extra season this year that starts in February. We are getting an extra celebrity version of The Apprentice and Survivor China just finished last weekend (Yay Todd) but we only have to wait until February for Survivor Micronesia to begin. Happy days.

Ok that’s all, should I not post again before the big day…which given my current posting frequency I probably won’t…a very Merry Christmas to all of my lovely visitors, hope you enjoy doing all your God stuff if you are that way inclined, and I hope you enjoy ripping open all your presents and spending time with loved ones if you are a dirty rotten heathen like me :) xxx

My youngest brother is a horrible present wrapper too. :) My dad can wrap presents so nicely, and when he realized I could do the same I got stuck with all the wrapping. LOL So everyone kept harassing me with ‘what did I get for Christmas’

Congratulations on your exercising. I plan on going on a diet too. I had lost a lot of weight when I was pregnant with the twins, but I’ve gone on an eating spree. I must stop the madness. :)
Have a Merry Christmas too!

“God stuff,” lol

3lbs in a month? I can loose that in a week, but then put it on again in a week. Never more, never less. I think me scales are just broken to be honest.

I was 12 stone 7lbs in one house, then less than 2 weeks later after I moved I was 11 stone 13lbs. Who looses that much in that time? I think they are on the blink. Well they were only £10 from Asda.

I haven’t really bought any xmas pressies. I got me mum, dad and bro summat little each, and my boyfriend… well… we’re saving to go to amsterdamn in feb… but both of us know it’ll neevvvver happen!

Have a great day…. xx

I just realized that I’m waiting on a gift, too… oh, why did I pay extra for shipping for it to arrive AFTER Christmas? bah.

I’ve been crap with weight loss recently. As fun as sneaking Christmas cookies is, it’s not so fun when your jeans don’t fit quite right again. This is what we have new years resolutions for :P

Merry Christmas Starlet! I hope that you’re having an amazing time!

Oh, Christmas food is so cruel. I’ve been on a diet too…lost 29 pounds so far, but 6 pounds to go last time I weighed myself. But I’ve definitely eaten so much chocolate and sugar the past few days that I’ve been too scared to get back on the scale! Eee! I need to exercise too, lol.

As long as you get to your weight loss goal eventually, it’s not too bad. And the good thing about Christmas presents is that people hardly ever remember the wrapping!

Hope you had a Merry one.
