Thank you for all the compliments re the fringe. It’s safe to say it is a resounding success…now that I am used to it I love it all the more, cos not only does it look aiiight all forward, it also looks great pushed to one side in a sweeping fringe, and it is long enough that it can be pushed back and…sorta…stay out of the way (as long as I don’t move tooooo much haha). VERSATILEFRINGE woo :thumbsup:
I finally got another elliptical today, you may remember the last one I had had to go back because it was a pile of wank, and I had a heck of a time finding another suitable one. After it taking an hour and a half to assemble the first one, and this one being similar, I figured I’d be able to get it ready for action within the hour. How wrong was I? Well…about 3 and a half hours wrong apparently - it was a bitch and a half and took from 4pm until 8.30pm - and even now it’s not fully assembled because there was one part I just couldn’t do, it’s only an aesthetic thing though so the machine is usable…so far so good, although it’s a similar size to the last one it seems to ‘fit’ my size better…on the other one I felt like the foot peddles were too far apart and the handle bars too far forward, this one is perfecto in that sense and most importantly the computer seems to work and do every thing it’s meant to do. Only used it briefly so far though, so fingers crossed this one is a keeper!
Oh, and on Wednesday I hit a weight loss milestone…I have lost 2 stone now (28lbs), hurrah.

In other news, holy poobeads, a few entries ago I complained that my PR had dropped to a 2…well now it’s a 0 (previously a 5!)…as is Plugboard.org (previously a 5!)…as is RealityTVFan.org (previously a 2!). Swayforum.com has remained a 2…but that’s the site I am least bothered about having a PR on as I don’t sell any ad space on it and the like, and don’t exactly promote it or want it to be anything big.
Google, man…I thought we were friends? :loser:
Has everyone else taken another google hit?
It’s kinda funny how stressed some people are getting about it though and it amuses me slightly, I have seen google hate campaigns, buttons that declare google is an evil dictator and boycotts etc over it. It sucks and all - I have lost out on a lucrative(ish) advertiser because of it - but it’s really not the end of the world

Anyways, sorry to hear about the Google ratings and stuff… =/ BUT… You’re right about how some people are stressed out over that. LOL. Yeah, it doesn’t matter to me, since I make it so that Google won’t index me. =P So it doesn’t matter to me. Hehe.
wow good job on the weight loss, I’ve been trying for years it seems to lose 15 lbs, I can’t even do that :/
Wow! I’ve been trying to lose 20pounds and nothing seems to work properly. I keep gaining all the weight back. Lol. And your new fringe looks great on you! It’s really cute. I bet it would look funny on me. Haha. I’ll stick to my side fringe =D

Lots of sites have dipped with their rankings but oh well. That’s life. It sucks to loose an advertiser because of that though.

Pagerank is based on good things as well as superficial things, so it’s kinda hard to predict when you will go up/down. As more sites are being made, it’s screwing up the rankings…and a lot of people are making websites these days. I remember when I just started out there were only a few websites: swaymyway, lalaland, and okieday. Lol. Okieday is long gone, Lalaland has forever promised to reopen, only swaymyway is still around! Anyways, I agree that people shouldn’t get too worked up about it.
I was gonna give myself a fringe the other night after dying my hair back to black but I chickened out… i dont know how it would look on me. But yours look really good! I`m jealous.
You’re not the only person complaining about that PR thing with google or something (not really familiar with it)… but I’ve read about 3-5 blogs complaining about it. I don’t know what’s going on with google,maybe you should email and ask them?

And in regards to Google, they bitch slapped anyone who had the audacity to use methods in addition to or other than AdSense to make money. These methods included pay-to-blog companies (PayPerPost, PayU2Blog specifically) as well as Text Link Ads. The good news? Some companies are recognizing that Google’s method of determining a site’s worth is rather flawed and not all the consistent, and are developing new methods to track actual stats and traffic.

Honestly, I couldn’t care less about PageRank. I have a small blog and I don’t really care if I don’t get gazillion visitors or if my PR isn’t a 10. And I really don’t get why people get so worked up about it. Does it really matter that much? I must be missing some crucial information as to why PR is so important people are starting to boycott all things related to Google simply because their PR has dropped :/
