I wonder how long you have to be a gambler, or how much you have to gamble before you can call yourself a professional gambler? It’d be quite cool wouldn’t it? When people ask what you do for a living, instead of saying ‘Oh well, I am unemployed really…but I make money online’ and them instantly thinking “Poorrn Staaarrr” to themselves, you can just say ‘I’m a professional gambler’.

Alright so I don’t honestly think I qualify as one, but I have been playing a lot of Bingo recently :rotfl:
I am sure I must have mentioned Quidco before, right? It’s a UK cashback site that I have been using for about 8 months…when you buy things online you just go through quidco and they track your purchase, then you get cashback on it (how much depends on the merchant), but they also have a bunch where you don’t have to spend anything to get cashback, just sign up, play a game, answer a survey etc and they also have a lot that give you more cashback than you have to pay out…right now I am drinking from a personalised mug (with the Big Brother eye on it heheee) that they basically paid me £4 to have done And Bingo and gambling sites are like that, usually it’s deposit and wager £10 - get £20/£25/£30 cashback. So you get to go have fun playing bingo for a while, plus the chance at winning more, and you get it all back PLUS some. Once you have used up your free money, just get the heck outta there…they obviously set these things up so that you get hooked and stick around, but as long as you have self control you are set.

I was on a new one I am doing last night, played for 3 hours…yeah 3 hours, you heard me. But this is the funny thing, I was the only person playing the specific game I was :giggle: It’s only a smaller site obviously, so at 3am it was me and the occasional person who’d pop along for a few games. Because there was only me there, the winnings were TINY obviously…each game was only a £2 pot (40p one line, 60p two lines, £1 full house) but the thing is I was guaranteed to win it all, so I was buying the min amount of tickets (6 x 10p) and making £1.40 per game! Not bad, gonna go back now night after night to see if I am ever on my own again…then as soon as I get up to the minimum cash out value, it’s mine!!

What I have discovered though, is that…guess who plays Bingo? Strange people, that’s who. It really is like this secret society, I don’t think I have seen an actual conversation in all the time I have spent playing…on any of the sites. It seems a Bingoers vocabulary consists of the following:

Hmm. I don’t want to insult Bingo players by suggesting they perhaps generally aren’t too bright - and surely the fact I play proves that they aren’t all slow *sweeps hair dramatically* - but something ain’t quite right with those chatrooms, I can tell you that.

Good news re the weight thing I mentioned last entry, on Sunday’s weigh in, I ‘lost’ 4lbs…and I weighed myself again this morning and have ‘lost’ the other 1lb, so I am back to where I was…PHEW….no comforting cheesecake required (damn it!).
