To quote my most favourite crazy American of all time, ooops I did it again. Another 2 weeks between blog posts, and still no sign of a new layout. What a triumphant return that was, huh? My excuse this time is that I have had a pretty stressful few weeks waiting on some results (which I now have & it’s all gooooood, FYI) and haven’t felt much like doing anything…other than wallowing. It’s my excuse and I am sticking to it, though cripes knows what excuse I am gonna come up with next time :wink3:

I really wish I could get back into web design, I remember the days I’d love spending hours making graphics and coding to get great designs, now I open something up, tinker for a few minutes, get bored and stop, pick it up again about 3 weeks later, screw up one tiny thing that messes things up, say ‘Feck it’ and delete the stupid thing. I never once used a template or layout I hadn’t made myself, on any website, in 5+ years of doing this stuff…now it seems I live off free templates & am completely incapable of making even the most basic design myself. *Le sigh* - old age? loss of interest? LDD*? Who knows, but it ain’t cool.

As for blogging, well jeez….can any one remind what it is folks blog about again? I’ve been inactive for a few months and it’s like I have lost my website brain. How did I used to blog every few days?

——–

In oooother news, I weighed myself today…as I do every Sunday and I gained 5lbs since last week *cough spit splutter die* - How in the hell did that happen? I didn’t change my exercise regime, I didn’t change my calorie controlled diet. I lose weight at a ridiculously slow pace (about half a pound a week on average), but it’s consistently going down and I am doing it the right way and while a lot of weeks I don’t lose at all/maybe gain 1lb….5lbs?!?! Holy arse crisps batman.
I can only hope and assume one of two things, 1. I am up the duff (I’m not, nor would I actually hope I was) or 2. it was some weird anomolly due to womanly times, or needing a really big poo…and when I next weigh in things will be back to normal. If not, that’s gonna be the most depressing thing ever, and I will have to eat 2 x cheesecakes to make the pain go away :giggle:

Aiight, that is all…I shall try post again sooner than 2 weeks…pwromice

I don’t even know why I keep a blog anymore. Hardly anyone reads it anymore, cause I only have the family to talk about. No more complaining about work, because I quit. I keep telling myself I’m going to delete it, but I don’t.

Good luck with the diet Starlet. Do you weigh yourself in the mornings? If not, you should….after using the bathroom and before you’ve eaten or drunken anything. :)

Star there is a way to lose all the weight you want in 2 months. First know this. your not doing anything wrong. Women in their mid 20’s start gaining weight and they don’t know why? Star its nature preparing you for a baby. Nature wants you to store some extra fat for bones and stuff. Heres how to lose weight and keep it off. One we need to make your tummy smaller inside. From here on till you lose the wieght you want eat only salads. Nothing else. Now every day
for 30 mins do these exercises. All in sets of 25-50 until you get better then move it up to 100. First set jumping jacks to get your heart pumping. then toe touchers from a standing portion. then stand in front of a wall and act like your trying to push the wall down. then stand straight and stick your arms out to the sides and keep them for 25 count now roate your arms in a circular fashion for same sets. Now this one is very important. to avoid flab lie down on your back place your hands in back of ur head, raise ur legs 6 inches off ground and keep them up as u count till 25. try doing 100 . also when at pc with both feet on ground raise each foot till your foot is on its toes keep doing that all day. by the seond week you can double it and so forth. In 2 months you have dropped 20-30 pounds. also it will be easier to keep it off. Starlet many women get gestational diabetes when they get pregnant. thats why its better to start now with the salads. Now star at risk of getting you mad. London has the most fantastics breakfasts on earth. But the rest of the day lunch and dinner sucks eggs. London couldn’t cook a good meal if its life depended on it. So it should be easy to give up food there.

Hey Starlet! Glad to see you updating :) and so glad to know that I am not alone….in almost everything you said, I can completely relate to it. I dont know what I used to do sitting on the computer all day long. I dont have the inclination to make graphics and layouts like before…and I have never really known what to write about in blogs but still I do it..dont know why!

But cheer up coz your blogs are always very intersting and funny!! About the weight gain…well just blame it on the hormonal changes? hehehe thats what I do too. Just don’t eat those cheesecakes :D hehehe ….chill!

I’m the same way these days. I have lost most interest in updating and making layouts….when it used to be something I could do for hours a day and never get bored. Now, I just don’t care. But I’ve read the same complaints on many people’s blogs…so maybe the internet is just losing its novelty factor or something. Or, maybe, as we get older and we gain more responsibilities, updating a website just isn’t a priority anymore…for me, anyway.

It’s not unusual for the scale to say I’ve gained 5lbs. First, I’ll be all WTF about it, but I’ll come back and weigh myself in a day or two, and my weight is the same as it was before, without the 5lbs. I normally weigh myself first thing in the morning before I’ve eaten anything, and that usually gives me a more accurate number.

Yep, I know what you’re saying. Hehe, I hate designing now! All I can get myself to do is update the content and blog! I can’t be bothered with the design part now. LOL.

Your weight does change a significant amount when your period is coming up, so lets hope that that’s the cause! :P

When I moved house I managed to loose about 6lb in 2 weeks, just by walking to work that bit extra, unlike last year when I lived about 2minutes away!

I had Layout Design Deficency for a while, but I popped a new one up yesterday… perrrrrty!
