Is anyone else as morally outraged by all this Paid to Post crap as I am? Well, OK maybe not so morally outraged since I don’t generally do moral outrage, but it’s just plain nasty!

Yes yes, I can hear you…”What you talking about girl, you have adverts on your site…look I see one right there ^ and one there >, and you are always pimping referral URLs and shit…so shut your hypocritical mouth, bitch!”

…and I can’t argue with that, I am always trying to make a little extra money online…and I do a pretty good job of it without being a total whore. The thing I hate about paytopost is that it’s so damn false…I have no objections to people putting adverts on their sites as long A) They are clearly marked as adverts B) They don’t piss all over the visitor (aka popups or having to ‘click here’ before you can submit a comment/something) and C) They look relatively pretty. I hate hate hate the way people have to blog this shit like it’s something they were going to talk about any way and try and disguise that they are being paid to post it.

Hi guys, do you go for a poo on a regular basis? I do, I go most every day and you know what is important? It’s important to have good, smooth, soft toilet paper for wiping. There’s nothing worse than paper that is rough on your bottom, feels like tracing paper and even tears as you are using it and leaves you feeling tender and sad :(
Well I recently discovered a new product, “Super Smooth Shit Wiper” , and let me tell you it lives up to it’s name, it’s super smooth and it wipes shit :) Now my bum feels great all the time, no matter how much I am having to wipe!

So, how about you guys? How often to you go for a poo? and have you tried the wonderful new ‘Super Smooth Shit Wiper’ product, available in all good grocery stores?

OK so that might be a slight over exaggeration to how people do it, but that’s how I read them every time…imagining the poster stood holding the product to camera, big toothy grin and a wink at the end.

So if you are one of the sad knacks that uses this service, think about it…if you have even an ounce of something inside you that’s telling you payperpost is nasty then stop doing it, do you really need money that badly? :loser:

PS. Be my 1000th question? Make it a good one :)

The Pay to Post thing looks quite sucky. I think I may start to use that text link ad thing you do though. I’m getting a high amount of traffic and downloads on my brush site so it might be worth it now… :-D

I am starting to hate it now… there are 2 sites that I visit on a regular basis and every day it seems that there are about 3 pay per post posts. I didn’t mind it at first, but when I have to search through 2 pages of blog entries to get to the first one since yesterday… it’s annoying!!!!!!!!!!

Please tell me that was a madeup PPP entry. I would have to think that our fellow bloggers have begun talking about poo in hopes of making a few extra bucks.

The PPP is getting crazy though, half the blogs that I am assigned to comment on through despair, etc. are all PPP blogs. It’s hard to find common ground when talking about a new vacuum cleaner.

Pay per post… I’m starting to see that more often too. I mean, it is kind of annoying. Now some of all the sites are just starting to be totally like pay per post without any substance to it. :/

Wow, that is pretty ridiculous I swear the internet now a days is getting crazier and crazier. I’ve tried those Advert things but it never works for me, lol. I guess I just suck at advertising. Anyway, I think sites like that are taking the fun out of posting and reading what people have to say. It sucks and it makes me want to stick with LJ.

Oh, that made me laugh. I can imagine a big cheesy smile and a wink at the end of every PPP post that I read. Right ok you might make a few $$$ out of a post but do you really need to piss your regular readers off in the mean time talking about real estate and poker tables? Jeees!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a member of PPP but only for affiliates since everybody and their grannies signing up to it.

I’ve come across blogs with Paid To Post entries and they don’t really bother me much. I figure that if a person prefers to earn money that way instead of the text or image ads, more power to them. To be honest, I almost prefer those over the ads - so many of these image ads are huge and unattractive looking, not to mention the constant blinking of the text. *lol* I suppose it’s all a matter of preference. Your “poo” post did make me giggle quite a bit though. ^^

I have seen a few sites that the owners blog using the program to pay for posting. I do not like it as it makes site very impersonal and quite awkward to read depending on the subject.

This is the first time ever that I’ve seen it, so I’m not outraged, and the quote thingy is kinda funny xD
And the ads aren’t annoying, and you’re totally right, they do look kinda pretty ;)

Super Smooth Shit Wiper, hahaha! That was pure gold!

Yes, I do agree with you… Once I find out that a blog is affiliated with Paid to Post, I *usually* (depends)… never visit that blog ever again. I dunno… it’s just that I keep thinking that all the future posts will be biased in favour of a product being reviewed. It just seems… shady.

But I’m not going to overly judge people who do it… I guess they might really need the money. I mean, some people really need it, I suppose.

ROFLMFAO @ the super smooth shit wiper :D I’ve actually thought about doing it only because I know some people are making right at $100 a month doing it and thats a lot of extra cash to blow. But I’m still just thinking about it, gonna think longer and harder now that I’ve read your blog lol.
Happy Valentines Day :)

I’m sick and tired of this PayPerPost also, I recently had a ramble about it on my blog. Most of the blogs I visit are into this horrid fad, so I have stopped visiting. It’s not like it was one advertisement per week, every blog entry they were writing was a sponsored post, ick!

I feel your pain, I hope it’s a fad that dies quickly.

Meh. I understand where you’re coming from… the posts are annoying to read. But, most people categorize and tag them as “PPP” or “sponsored”, so it’s easy to distinguish the real entries from the advertisements, and skim right by. Also, PPP allows bloggers to put sponsored posts under the read more cuts, which is what I’ve started doing.

And, in defense of PPP, it’s more than just pennies. ;) I’ve written 28 entries and have just about $200 rolling my way. *shrug*

By the way, Happy belated Valentine’s Day.

Well written review. Sounds like a nice product. BTW Did you know the link to the supersmoothshitwiper.com website is broken?

I haven’t been paid to make a follow up comment. Honest!
