Ooops, another week between blogs and I didn’t even put up a new layout! In my defense, I was going to get on with it at the weekend but I have had a migraine since Sunday :duh: today is the first day I have felt human this week, but I am still too cautious to spend hours online, so I will leave it til probably the weekend now…but it will get done, oh yes it will.
Bad news – my Youtube account got removed, gutted. I had exactly 199 videos (I remember because I remember thinking the next one I upload will be my 200th!), over 100 subscribers and was the 43rd most viewed channel the last few weeks. All of my videos were wiped out and I don’t keep them on my computer once they are uploaded, so they are lost. Sad times.
Oh well, they were all only TV (Big Brother & Survivor mainly) rips, it’s not like it was lovingly slaved over…stuff. The good news is that on the start of every video I uploaded I put a little logo that said ‘Swaymyway.com’ – so hopefully some people will make it over here to see if they can work out where I went. I have already signed up for a new account, nothing is uploaded there yet though because I have to confirm my email address before I am able to and the confirmation email isn’t coming through 
*taps foot*
But, spread the word, hope to be up and running again soon….

He’s closing down the shared/reseller part of his hosting because he’s having to pay money out of his own pocket to keep it going. This is largely in part because of his prices which are very reasonable. The rude clients are only adding to his wanting to shut down that section of his hosting. DanServ is an incredible host and like I stated in my blog, I don’t want to search for another host because I doubt any of the others can compare to his services and his prices. Thanks for the suggestion though.

Aww! Sorry to hear about your account!! Maybe it has something to do with Fox and not wanting their shows on there?? I read an article about Fox wanting to sue Youtube on Google News…

They deleted your YouTube account, just like that?! Awwww, THAT MAJORLY SUCKS. I’d be totally bummed, but then again, I backup all my vids and then some. I’m kinda paranoid and anal like that. I wouldn’t want my entire blog to suddenly have huge empty spaces where the YouTube videos would’ve been, hehehe. Anyway, I usually have a backup QuickTime version for download – just in case YouTube is down for whatever reason during the time a reader is visiting / reading my blog.
I’m assuming your YouTube account might’ve been deleted because it ran afoul of Google/YouTube’s more stringent rules now — no uploading copyrighted materials without permission. I heard and read about that… There’s a crackdown now. Big Brother and Survivor would definitely qualify.
omg I never knew they did that!! Why the heck would youtube have such a ridiculous policy?!?! I dont have an account there but that seems completely stupid.
Yeahh, I heard that on the news about how Youtube was being sued by some company or other because of all the ripped shows there. That’s probably why your account was deleted, like fruityoaty. Youtube’s probably just trying not to lose a shitload of money in a lawsuite, haha. :X
Oh man that sucks about YouTube…. I love that site, cuz I have dial-up so I can only watch at friend’s houses. The new layout is cute too btw.
OMG. Migraine really sucks sometimes, my head feels like its gonna burst and i hate it. And btw that sucks. 199 videos is so much.

Oy. Now I want to check out my account. I have over 250 vids, and almost 200 subscribers.
But, luckily, I do have copies of my videos, but not all.
Whao. 199 videos?! Youtube sucks. They have no right to delete your account…unless you posted illegal stuff
But I don’t think so. I think lots of people will go to your site if you put your URL on the front of the videos

Ah, google owned Youtube is a lot stricter now. My own account got deleted because it had ripped shows on, I kind of pre-empted it though. I didn’t have backups, but I wasn’t nearly as viewed as you were.
I was still so mad though, so I totally sympathise.

Well you’re definitely right not to want to be online with bad headaches, you gotta make sure you won’t make them come back. Oh how sad. why would they remove your youtube account? Can you contact support and see if they can put it back up from their backups? Or were you doing something against the rules that they deleted it?
I’m sorry to hear that your account got gutted. Any idea why? Perhaps, you should contact the administrators of Youtube to try and see what happened. Anyway, good luck with your new account and I hope you feel better. Migraine’s suck.

Those bastards deleted you casue of legal problems with Viacom and others.
Funny google helps china arrest peeps but deletes a sweet lil ladys account.
