Awww, so that’s it….Christmas is over for another year
I always feel a little down in the dumps at this time of year, everywhere/thing is still all Christmassy, but Christmas is over :snowman:
It looks like I will be getting a few more pressies though, so it’s kinda extended…Gav forgot to bring one of my gifts with him, so I should get that next week, the gift my brother and sister-in-law got me got dropped and smashed before I’d opened it, doh and my dad is slowly but surely building me a hutch for my desk. In addition I have done what I always do…and decided on a bunch of stuff I want now that Xmas is over! You know what it’s like, everyone on at you asking what you want and you can’t think of anything, but then as soon as it’s too late…
Now I would like a DVD writer (and some blank DVDs) for my computer, I want a freeview recorder (my parents got one lol), I want an I-dog, I’d love this stepper and of course I still want my Nintendo DS Lite - I’ve been scouring the sales like a mad woman trying to find a good deal on that, but they are hardly even in stock anywhere…never mind in the sales
Oh well, only 3 months until my birthday and there’s always the billion to one chance someone rich who’s secretly in love with me will buy me the lot from my Wishlist :);)
I did get some great pressies though, here’s my stash ![]()
Parentals:
Boots
Electric Toothbrush
Micro Crystal Straighteners
Pink Dressing gown
Cushtie pillow
Earrings
Ipod arm strap
Gloves
Bit of makeup
Ear muffs
Blueberry pedicure stuff
Bra and knickers
Strawberry quality streets yum yum yum
Pink smarties
Heart lights
Brother and SIL:
A phone that got dropped and broken, doh.
Gavinpoo:
Headphones
N64 converter thing (so I can use an N64 controller on my PC)
Mouse mat (with cheese on it, cos mice like cheese)
The electric toothbrush is great, I don’t know why I didn’t already have one
I got Gavin a whole heap of bits and bobs, but his main pressy was an electric toothbrush also…so now we’ll be all sparkly and smelling of loveliness together hehe
Christmas day itself was a bit of a let down, but all in all my Christmas was aiiiiiiiigght. Hope you all had a jolly one
I’m currently watching Survivor season #3, Africa…Oh my word I have never disliked a group of people so much so quickly, normally by episode #6 I am only just about learning peoples names, but Brandon, Silas and Lindsey are just such ugly ugly people (speaking of ugly people, have you seen TBL Kai’s myspace, can you believe she is a 28 year old woman? :loser:) - so Silas and Lindseys demises in episodes #5 and #6 couldn’t have come quick enough, I was surprised though because usually the people I hate last a long time…oh well, there’s still Brendon! I know who wins this season so it’s a bit bothersome, but I love it when they do seasons in places like Africa/Aus outback/Amazon jungle etc, just because it looks so different to when they are on some gorgeous tropical beach!
Also, a woman won The Biggest Loser UK, yay…I am a little late with this news as it happened about 2 weeks ago, but I only just watched the finale (boy did I feel like a bit lazy fat bastard after all the crap I ate over Christmas!). First time in any country a woman has won it I do believe, and she won it by a lot…she lost 47% total and the nearest guy lost 37%, go Jodie!!
You can watch some TBLUK videos as well as Survivor Africa ones on my Youtube account if you so desire
Soooooo, just new year to look forward to now. Though there’s not really much to look forward to for me, we don’t really have any traditions etc in my family. How about you guys? what do you get up to on New Year Eve/Day?
Normally I stay in on NYE and just watch the fireworks from my living room, but for some reason I have agreed to go out this year…I am not a huge fan of going out even on normal nights, paying a load of money to get drunk and have to deal with other drunk people just isn’t my cup of tea, so why I am going out on the night of the year when it costs twice as much, there’s 5 times as many people and it takes 30 minutes to have a wee, I do not know. On New Years Day we usually have a roast dinner and my brother and sister-in-law come around, that’s about the extent of our traditions.
Ok that’s all, must dash…things to do, people to see :jesus:

Horaayy..there are 7 comment(s) for me so far ;)
I’m glad that you had a good Christmas! Sorry that you still haven’t gotten a Nintendo DS, though! Good luck getting it!
Hehe, and yeah, an electric toothbrush is awesome. Hehe. Glad you’re enjoying it! =)
Happy New Year, Starlet!
That’s quite a lot of things to want
And, yeah, it’s sad that christmas’s over.. It’s so fun
(And I don’t even get pressies) x)
Happy New Year to you!
Wow! I love presents! But too bad we don’t celebrate Christmas over here.
But anyway, have a lovely year ahead! 2007! (it’s 2007 over here!)
I want an electric tooth brush. Let me know if it actually cleans better than the regular ones.
We used to go out for new years, but with all the crazy drunk people out trying to drive we figure its a lot safter to just stay home.
Happy new year
It looks like you had a great Christmas to me. You received a lot of great gifts! I wish I could get an electric toothbrush! LOL.
I hope you have a nice New Year, even if you are going out. Who knows? It could be fun and surprise you. I hope it does!

WOW - you certainly received oodles of nifty presents for Christmas. I got quite the giggle out of your cheese mousepad, “because mice like cheese.” *lmao* It makes a lot of sense if you think about it. ^^ I like the idea of a cheesy mouse pad for my mousie. The question is, where to find one? *lol*
(despair)
I’m not too keen on Christmas myself, only because I don’t wait until Christmas to give gifts. And like my mom says, everyday is Christmas for me.
