I can’t beliiiiiiiieeeeeve it’s Christmas Eve tomorrow, it’s come by so so quickly :omg:
I’m ready for it though, the last gift I ordered arrived in the post yesterday (well, except one thing that I ordered over a bloody month ago that was meant to be delivered on the 15th of this month…the place I ordered from kindly informed me today, the day before Christmas Eve, that it won’t be here in time for Xmas, yeah…helpful, thanks LXDirect :thumbsdown:) and I finished wrapping everything up last night. I may have gone a little OTT this year heh
I made you guys a gift, because I am lovely and so are you :photo: It’s crap really, I know…but it’s the thought that counts right? I love you guys *gets all emo*
I made a wee ‘fansign’ style thing for the members of Swayforum also, because I love them the most 
and it was the forums 1 year birthday yesterday :party:
Gosh, that means it was over a year ago now that the whole horrible, nasty, unpleasant, immature, bitter LEIA fallout occurred, it really does not seem like that long ago, in a way I am glad it happened…I didn’t realise what a total mug I was being, ‘working’ so hard on a site that I got nothing back from, for people who as it turned out didn’t even like or appreciate me plus I am much happier on Swayforum, it’s a much more relaxed environment and has all the good things about the old LEIA (aka the members), without all the bad things (aka having to answer questions all the time & enforce rules I didn’t agree with! :P). I just wish it hadn’t been as nasty as it was and I wish it hadn’t dragged on/kept flaring up for months as it did :fire:
aaaaand, how do you guys like the card Gav got for me? Sure is purdy wouldn’t you agree? 
So, how do you guys spend your Christmas days? I always find it interesting to see how different people do it, I will tell you my usual Christmas day schedule:
* Get up ‘early’ - Early for me is around 11am heh
* Still in PJs exchange gifts with parents, this normally takes an hour because we like to take our time over it. Pressies is one of the best parts of Christmas, I don’t understand people who rip everything open in a matter of minutes!
* Get dressed into something nice.
* 1pm (ish) Brother and Sister-in-law arrive.
* 2pm (ish) start eating Christmas dinner, we have the whole traditional thing. Turkey, Chicken, Gammon and Pork, roast potato, sausages in bacon, Yorkshire puds, stuffing, vegetables, gravy etc. For afters there is trifle, cheese and crackers, cheesecake, buns, Christmas log and gateaux. We crack crackers and my dad starts drinking the port!!
* After dinner we go into the room to chill, I often have a sleep at this point but this year this is when Gav is meant to be arriving (I say meant to be, rather than is…because he has a habit of coming a lot later than he’s meant to…aka 9pm rather than 3pm!!).
* 5pm (ish) we exchange gifts with my brother and sister-in-law.
* Watch some telly, chill, maybe play a family game etc
* 8pm (ish) brother and sister-in-law go home.
* Gav actually arrives, watch some telly for a wee while.
* 10pm (ish) parents go to bed.
* Gav and I exchange gifts, we get something to eat, have some Christmas sex (:P, if I am lucky anyway!) and then go to bed.

My Christmas routine:
I usually wake up earlier than is normal for me on a non-work day (ie about 9am). If my Mum and Dad aren’t already awake,I knock on their door. I put a warm jumper on. Then we all go downstairs and I open my presents from under the tree in the lounge. Then Mum and Dad open theirs.
If I get any CDs as presents (which I usually do) I play them on my CD player pretty much straight away, whilst munching on my chocolates.
Some years we go round my sister’s house for the rest of the day and to have our turkey meal, other years we stay at home so it’s just the 3 of us and my Dad does the cooking.

Usually we don’t do anything Christmas day, we do it all on Christmas Eve but this time we did both days, so looks like I’ll gain double the pounds LOL but the turkey and dressing is worth it

wow your Christmas sounds like such fun! Although I’m not sure if I’d be able to stomach a lot of that food (it sounds kind of strange!) the rest of it sounds spectacular! I hope you enjoyed it and you have a great new years!
