A few nights ago, I got into a fight with a hairball. Yeah, you heard me right.

What happened was, as I was walking back up the stairs with my tea (green bean soup) in my hands, I noticed something in my doorway, so I stood dead still so I could look at it.

I thought, what the hell is it? A spider? A roach? A RAT?! Eventually after standing in fear for a little while I decided, since it wasn’t moving it must be a stain or something less scary, so tentatively started walking into my room, past the beastie…then it decided to move, as I put my foot near it, so I recoiled in horror, spilled half of my soup and did the whole squealing like a girl thing. I was looking for something to squish or prod at it with, keeping one eye on it so if it made another move I could run, there was nothing to get it with outside of my room though so I had to get past it…eventually plucked up the courage to jump over it and I got a big roll of Christmas wrapping paper to thwack it with, still squealing. Tentatively I poke at it…doesn’t move…poke a little harder…doesn’t move, so I get a little closer and I am looking at it, poke it, doesn’t move…so now I am starting to think maybe it isn’t a wee beastie, but I am still too scared to fully touch it, eventually I pluck up the courage to poke it with my toe, no move, stomp on it with my foot, no move…OK so it’s not alive…I pick it up and it’s…..HAIR…it’s the hair I have pulled out of my hairbrush, that somehow has not made it into the bin!!! The reason it appeared to move was because it was on a little bump in the carpet that I stood on!
The whole ordeal lasted about 20 minutes and I was left needing a cigarette afterwards :rotfl:

I am so hyped about Christmas this year, I am like a big kid. I’ve already way over spent on gifts though…95% finished now, every thing for the family is ordered and on it’s way and I know what I am getting for Gav, ‘appy days.
I have loads of cards already this year, normally I get at the most about 5…like a big fat loser, this year I already have 7, I have a definite further 5 coming and a possible further 4 – most cards I have had since I was about 16 hehe I have put my decorations up in my room also :)

The tree and decorations are up downstairs, I do have pictures of the tree but they are pretty sucky…the camera on my phone is OK, but you need to have good lighting and it’s therefore impossible to take a good picture of the tree with it’s lights on!

I have my Christmas wallpaper on my computer and I created one for my mobile phone (I love that little dancing santa!)

All I have left to do now is wait for some things to come in the post and wrap everything up then I am good to go :)
I would love to see pictures of some of you guys stuff, trees, decorations, cards, desktops etc etc whatever you have!

OK that’s all, have to go…just sold another 2 of those phones, weeeee :)

Nooooo! The OC is GREEEAAATTTTT again! Fans and critics alike are calling it the best season since season 1 (We’re in season 4 right now, by the way). Yes, season 3 sucked. But, serisouly, season 4 is GREAT (especially now that there is less pining over Marissa). Anways your blog – HILARiOUS XD Thanks for the comment!

That story is funny! lol. I guess anyone could make the mistake. I sure would. I’m terrified of spiders or anything with more than 4 legs (I’m alright with dogs). I hope that ordeal never happens to me!

It’s great that your all set for Christmas, which is more than I can say. I’m still broke and in need of gifts for my family. It’s great you’ve got it all figured out! lol.

Great post!

haha, I giggled out lout when I read this entry! =D =D =D It made me smile a lot; freaking out that much about something like that sounds like something I would do. (My room is always covered in bunched up thread because I have my sewing machine and tons of fabric in there, so I’m constantly thinking that little black threads are tiny bugs that are out to get me. *woe* I think we need help. XD

That was funny! I admit though that I might be like you when I encounter a situation like that.

The dancing Santa Claus is cute. It seems like you’re really into the Christmas season. I just hope I’m as hyped as you are.

Oh, don’t you love those hairball fights? I get into them ALL THE TIME…. part of the reason I cut my hair… hairballs all over from my hair. Really can look like spiders or other beasties. Ugh.
