post Category: Offline,Online post Comments (13) postNovember 10, 2006

Sorry I haven’t blogged (ugh, I can’t believe I just apologised for not blogging, that’s something I always said I’d never do :g:) but I haven’t been feeling very well. Since Saturday I have had a lingering migraine, it’s not coming to get me full pelt…just on and off and always there in the background. Very annoying, I have had Aura every day except Monday, a mild headache constantly, pins and needles in my left hand and I have been having a hard time keeping any food down. I hope I get better soon, it’s getting really bothersome now
Once I am better I will put up the new layout, having gone away and come back again I realise it looks even worse than I thought, but I am still going to use it haha.

I got the Sims 2 pets expansion!! With my brilliant bargain hunting skills I managed to get it for just £11, it sells for £20 – £30 everywhere, woo. I installed it yesterday, as soon as I got it…even though I have had ‘Open for Business’ for a few weeks and still didn’t install that, hmm. I now actually have The Sims 2 and 2 expansions, no big deal I hear you thinking…but I never buy games, I am afraid I am one of those naughty people who acquire such things for free :yeahright:
I have to say…I am not all that impressed with it, I thought I would be scrambling like a mad woman to play it every available opportunity, but I am not. I hope Open for Business impresses me more.

Which expansions do you guys have? Which is the best? Anyone else unimpressed by Pets?

You guys may or may not have noticed that I have started the practice of returning comments, gasp shock horror. I always objected to the concept (because I figure if people want to comment because they have something to say, they will any way and I don’t want people commenting just for the sake of getting one back) but now I am giving it a go, a long with a bunch of other things I always objected to. I joined Despair, I joined Blogmad and I joined a bunch of those button rotations at Plugboard.org

I have to say so far I am enjoying returning comments, I have met a few new cool people doing it and it definitely generates more hits and comments for all. Blogmad brings in a bunch of traffic, but out of 1000s of hits I think I have only got one comment. Despair, well…I will reserve judgement, I just signed up and have just done my first 3 comments and am waiting on mine…but so far I have remembered why I never signed up in the first place, there was one of the blogs I needed to comment on when I really had nothing to say, it was all very emo and ‘woe is me’ – normally I wouldn’t comment on a site like that, I’d run away screaming, but I had to feign some sympathy…made me feel very fake, hmm. As for the button rotations, yeah, I think I will just remove those, they have sent me practically 0 hits and they just look so ugly, always with broken images and dead links etc

Ok, that is all :) :disco:

People change ;) I used to blog very little, and now almost every day :)
I think returning comments is just plain polite :) And I am annoyed by people that don’t do it :P (No hard feelings though xD)
We only got the Sims2 expansion pack where you can send your peeps to uni (haven’t got a clue what it’s called since we, obviously, have the dutch version ) I like it though :D

Hehe, yeah, returning comments is a good thing.

I know what you mean about the button rotations! There are only a few that are good, but the rest… Hehe…

lol I always comment on ppl who comment on me. Despair ppl rarely ever comment. If you notice most of their sites haven’t updated in ages.

Returning comments is okay, and yeah you meet new people doing so which is what I like about it. Commenting fakely, I don’t do. Even if I don’t want to comment on the person’s post I’ll find something honest to say. Anyways, thanks for the comment on my post and yay for sims 2.

Yuck. I have migraines all the time. Hope you get a break from it soon. They are like… the worst thing almost of any type of malaise. Especially when strong nausea with it. And you are hungry but you just can’t eat. :(

I wish now with my new computer I still had my Sims 2. I had to sell it though for some cash (with a pile of other things) to get a bookshelf. Definitely worth it, but I really miss it in a way. I had Sims 2 University also, and wanted Open for Business. The computer is starting to bore me. Poo.

I gave up on all those commenting things, since I found they were “fake” hits and pretty worthless to me. I live for comments, for some reason, but I never blog about anything that I feel justifies forcing people to read it and give fake sympathy (the topic lately being my health). But it is good if I got back into blogging about normaller more interesting things. Cuz it was fun to discover new sites, but some are crappier than mine!

I’ve always tried to return comments, and when I don’t I feel extremely bad.

anyway, hope you feel better soon. Being sick is never any fun.

Migraines are the worst. I have those too. Also, I have a tendency to get tension headaches. Ugh. I guess I clench my teeth a lot!

Its funny how after you said about commenting back you get more comments lol.

I’ve only got Sims 2 and Sims 2 Uni, Uni is ok, but gets annoying because you want to have fun, but you need to study etc.

I’ve never had a migraine before, though my mum gets them alot, seems kinda scary not being able to see.

I hope you feel better soon. I gave up on Despair. I mean, it gave me some hits, but some of the sites I had to comment on left me feeling depressed and I ended up just letting myself get three warnings and now I’m suspended.
I have Sims 2, but it makes my computer run slow. I liked the game though it was really fun and super quality compared to the first Sims.
Great Post!

I’ve never really saw the point of joining a site just to get comments, yeah I’ll go around plugable sites everyonce and a while and see what’s out there and comment on sites that I visit.. Getting me to become a returning commenter is hard unless I like what people write about. People who blog daily or more then once a day scare me as I barely have the energy to blog weekly these days as I’m soo busy.

Good luck and hopefully you don’t get any fake commenters :)

Drink a lot of water and sleep lots that always helps me when I get a migraine

I have Sims 2 now that I have my new computer…and it works soooo nice and smooth. I uh…-cough-acquired -cough- University and loved it. I also….acquired Pets and Open For Business but OFB didn’t work correctly and I haven’t tried installing pets yet.
