Starlet finally got an iPod
Yes you heard, after wanting one for about 2 years I finally got my sticky paws on a lovely Pink 4gig 2nd generation nano 
So far I am finding iTunes rather bothersome, maybe I am being thick but it’s difficult to use imho…and what’s with not being able to just delete songs from the iPod itself? I want to be able to just click a song on my computer and tell it to send, all this synchronise business hurts my head. Still, loving it…I downloaded my very first podcasts (Laura’s Diary), how very 2006 of me!
It’ll come in especially handy in a few weeks time when I next go on the coach to my boyfriends..we are going to Blackpool for a few days with friends to see the Illuminations and Bonfire night Firework Finale Extravaganza, fun fun fun :bouncy:
I have a new hobby (I guess my old ‘new hobby’ isn’t my new hobby anymore, since I haven’t made any new ones for about a month. Fickle? me? haha). Coupons/Vouchers/Bargains - nerd alert or what? Someone posted a link to some coupon site on the forum many many months ago and it’s kinda grown from there, these days I don’t buy anything without first checking Hot UK Deals, and I do mean anything because ‘any saving is a saving’
Recently…I got myself 10% off my mobile phone at The Link (£9), 10% off my iPod from Tesco (£12.90), 10% off my coach tickets (£1) and 89¢ off the domain name renewal for Plugboard.org at Namecheap :whip:
I also go crazy for these ’secret’ special offers places have…ok they are hardly secret…but they aren’t common knowledge, for example a while ago Game had a ‘24 hour spectacular’ where every hour a new deal would appear on the site (with limited stock, so you had to be fast to get anything!!), I had a lot of fun coming on every hour to see what was up for grabs, I tried to get myself a Nintendo DS for £50 (half price) but failed…Gav however got two of them plus 4 games!! Over the last 48 hours HMV have had 20% off everything, there was nothing I wanted to buy…but I still felt really special because I knew about it. M and M Direct had a deal a while ago where you could get £5 off and free p+p so I got a Ben Sherman backpack free (and, oh…look where that has ended up hehe). I have a purse full of coupons for KFC, Subway and my local pub.
It’s a lame hobby, but someones gotta have it :loser: :rotfl::throb:

Haha! Your new hobby sounds like one of my Mum’s apparent hobbies — She sends complaints to tonnes of manufacterers/companies, example, horseradish going rotten after being in our fridge for about fifteen years, she eMails the company and tells them she bought it new, and it went bad, and they sent us a case of about 8 new glass containers of brand new horseradish. True story, man. She does it with EVERYTHING.

I’m insanely jealous! Like you, I’ve been wanting an Ipod for years and have seen some rather spoilt friends of mine get Ipods, lose them and get new ones the next week. Life is so unfair. I’ve decided to just save up and get a Pink Nano in the new year or something. And yes darling, how very 2006 of you!

Dont worry I get all confused with iTunes, I lost 12 albums when trying to update my iPod
