Am I the only one who thinks it’s really wrong for The Biggest Loser to be advertising ‘no effort weight loss hoodia patches’ ?!?!
Isn’t the whole point of TBL to teach people that you need to change your LIFESTYLE, forever…and that the only way to lose weight and keep it off is by exercise and a calorie controlled healthy diet, they don’t do fad diets etc…yet someone offers them a bit of money and along with the emails with the good advice they have adverts for a quick fix?!

I am genuinely really disappointed/annoyed by it!!

That’s really sad. The things people will do for money.

I have not seen this seasons show, but I do think that advertising such an item is contrary to the shows original premis. Losing weight has no “quick fix”, and showing such an item, is what is making this country fatter.

You’re not the only one : ( I find the show to be inspirational. I’m not nearly as indebt body wise as those people and if they can do it I sure can. That was a good message, damnit!

Yeah it’s annoying…it’s about as annoying as that blog entry you did that was nothing but an advert ;)

^ REALLY?

I can see how that could have been annoying/people didn’t approve of it….but I don’t think it’s quite the same thing, the point about TBL advertising hoodia is that it’s completely contrary to what TBL is about…I’m not complaining about the fact they are sending out adverts, but the content of the adverts. It’d be like me advertising a George W Bush support site lol
