Spam, spam spam spam. It’s being a real pain for me at the moment. My formmail keeps getting disabled by Dreamhost because it is being used to send out 100s of spam emails. Someone is spamming me via the forms on Plugboard.org and I am getting about 100 spam sign ups at the Topsites per week! :whip:
Who remembers the days when the only place you ever got spam was in your email inbox? Now it’s like any single thing that has a submit button gets spammed to buggery
Speaking of Plugboard.org, last month the script got a massive rework…I realised that a lot of the features and what not did not work on the new version of PHP, so the whole thing got a rewrite…thanks mainly to the lovely Sphere who basically did the whole thing for me, he is now officially my online saviour…he fixed up the Plugboard for me and he hosts Swayforum.com for us, totally free of charge
So, you all should go download and install the latest version…because even if your host hasn’t already updated their PHP version they will eventually and then you will run into problems. The only changed file is plug.php so you don’t need to overwrite the whole thing!
