I wish my parents would get a new car, I don’t drive myself so rely on them for transport :car:
My dad sold his car probably about 2 months ago, he didn’t want to sell it but it was an old hunk of junk…so after being nagged about it he put a sign on it, expecting no one would be interested…but 2 days later someone knocked on the door, had a test drive, bought it and drove off with it there and then!! My dad says we don’t need a new one, I think he is holding some kind of protest…since me and my mum want a new one badly! I think finally he has realised why a car is a good thing to have though, last week he was really poorly…had a stange pain in his head, he had to go to the doctors who told him it was either toothache or shingles, gave him some drugs and told him to get to the denist. The drugs made him throw up loads and he had to go to the dentists twice, once for the check up and then the next day to get a tooth out….all on the BUS! Imagine getting a long bus ride home from getting a tooth out where you passed out 3 times?! So yeah, hopefully now he wants a car!!
Any way, I decided to post up my online ‘Routine’ - I remember doing this years ago…I doubt it has changed very much :smileguy:
1. Turn on computer
2. Open up azureus to set downloads going.
3. Open hotmail and gmail inboxes
4. Set music going, that is the BBC Radio Player on weekdays and MP3s on weekends!
5. Check my Fish, feed, breed and sell them! (fish tycoon)
6. Read email and deal with anything that needs dealing with.
7. Check eBay.
8. Check swaymyway.com for comments, questions, spam etc
9. Check my extreme tracker
10. Check Plugboard.org. This includes looking at the tracker and my adsense earnings for the day.
11. Go to Next-Episode.net to see which shows I need to download today.
12. Go to torrent sites to find TV shows and set them going.
13. A quick jump to some smaller (smaller as in I don’t spend hours there a day, not in physical size) forums I post on such as Digitalspy, webmaster-talk and at the moment a few Big Brother Aus and UK boards.
14. Over to Swayforum where I will spend probably an hour catching up on posts and doing adminy things.
15. Check fishes again.
16. Log off. Well except for I don’t actually log off, I leave my computer on downloading every waking hour…I just, walk away from it…but you know what I mean.

Finally, yesterday I randomly surfed across the The Free ipod contest, some of you will remember it from when I entered (and soooo nearly won, grr) in like…August and September last year. The same damn site is still winning every month, that’s why I decided there was no point in entering again…I figured I’d wait until they changed the rules so that a site that obviously gets 1 million hits a day couldn’t keep on winning it then consider going for it again.
I just don’t understand the logic, are they stupid or what?! No one enters the contest any more because there’s no point, so either just ditch the contest completely and pay angelsforhope $149 a month for a banner advert…or do that and carry on with the contest any way…then NEW people will enter!

My online routine…
1. Turn on computer.
5. Go on forums, fu.CK, twilight etc.
2. Open Firefox, check email and start up MSN!
3. Check Rxpture and bullet-theory.org
4. Work my way through my dailies folder
6. Check out other sites, blog hopping haha.
7. Log off.
I’m usually on MSN for AGES though bahaha.
My routine
Get up at about 7.45
Turn on laptop and start msn, get compfey and wait for tea
shower
breakfast
check out sway/emails/torncity
go to school
Come home, check up on sway as its filtered at school now
Um, do a bit of revision
Back to msn etc
Watch a bit of tv at 9pm
bed at 10
sleep at about 11
On monday, tuesday and thursday I go trampolining.
Quite boring really lol
Anyway, having a car does suck, I can remember when are car broke down, it costed us £7 something for my family to go to town, and we live about 3 miles away.
You know I never thought of seeing everyone’s daily routine’s, even for just on the computer, it’s so interesting… So yeah…
-Turn omputer on… Boots up in about 25 seconds.
-Take mouse off charger and turn on keyboard during that time
-Wait for Speedfan(My PC temperature monitor) to turn on
-Open MSN and AIM
-Check my email
-Now for the fun websites I must look at everyday right when I get on
-Stocks, girlfriends blog, sisters blog, this blog :), my website, LEIA(yes…), SMWF(woot…), and yeah thats it.
-I check about 5 of those throughout the day unless I’m working and then before bed.
-When bedtime comes, well, when I get tired… I turn the computer off, turn the keyboard off, and mousey goes back on the charger :).
-Stand up, walk 3 feet and lay down in bed lol…
Yeah, my parents are just now trying to sell our old van. It’s an ok van but it has a few problems. I was going to drive it when my dad got a new car but then my sister got a job traveling so I’m driving hers and paying part of her car payment. So we decided to just sell the van instead of having it sit. So I know where you’re coming from… kinda

-check outlook

and just hang around and chat

- check sway forum (in the background cause normally im talking to other people)
- hotmail
- if im really bored, ill go to random peoples websites and catch up with their lives, but lately ive been so preoccupied with other stuff i havent had time
- check my stats and wordpress comments (if i remember)
- sit and click refresh on myspace and sway forum if ive run out of things to do
- wait for shane or booky to get online if ive run out of things to do
- get offline

Log on to kingdomofloathing.com and adventure my daily quota
Chat on msn
Maybe do some homework
Read the newspaper (online) or read fanfiction
Log off and go to bed
I’d go crazy if I didn’t do my routine. I’m a routine-y person.
PS: This is my normal routine, in the summer and other vacations and holidays, it’s much longer.
My routine is:
1. Turn computer on.
2. Check four of my Gmail accounts.
3. Add affiliates or link requests if any. This includes approving members for fanlistings.
4. Check the TFL.org + their message board.
5. Open up Photoshop.
6. Read stuff on webhostingtalk.com
7. Check email etc and blog.
It repeats basically lol.
