Woo, I am glad you all like the new layout :running:
I was going to blog yesterday because I had loads I wanted to say, but I didn’t…and now I have forgotten everything :irked:
Well firstly, happy Good Friday/Easter to everyone…personally I don’t celebrate it in any way since I’m neither a Christian nor a child, but somehow I am getting 3 pressies…people feel guilty because they can’t buy me an Egg since I am on my ‘get healthy’ kick, so they are buying me other things…SCORE.
Speaking of my get healthy kick…3 weeks of eating right (with only a small slice of choccy cake to shame me) and working out every day and I have only lost 2lbs, how annoying is that?! I think I have been watching too much Aussie Biggest Loser where they lose 5lbs - 30lbs every week :hissyfit:
One thing I have learnt from watching that show…Australians can’t start a sentence without one of the following three things:
1. Oh look - This means they are about to disagree with what was just said.
2. Oh yeah - This means they are about to agree with what was just said.
3. Oh gee - This means any other of the billion emotions in the planet.
(yay for racial stereotyping)
Aus BB starts in a few weeks (after TBL ends I guess, go Adro!), I can’t wait….I’m much more excited about Aus BB than the UK version because last year ours was crap…full of the most vile HMs ever…
I got a new credit card yesterday, w00t woo0t…I have to phone up to activate it though which I am dreading to the point of almost deciding not to bother. Damn phone phobia. Does anyone else hate calling people as much as I do? How do you get over it?
^ Look, a SwayForum button rotation thing, Nick made it…cool huh?
OK this is about all I have to say, laters my peeps.
Why not buy some Advertising space here at Swaymyway.com, due to the banners being at the bottom of the page during my last layout only a few people bought space which means right now there are no banners in the rotation (other than my own, which get removed as the space is filled up with ‘real’ customers) so maximum exposure for you
The rate is $4/mo and you can find more details and the form to apply on the Advertise page!
Thanks.

Horaayy..there are 8 comment(s) for me so far ;)
As for the weight loss, its better to lose it slowly than really fast, because your body is not used to it, and you can put it on just as quickly, I think it also depends on how much you have to lose, if its loads then it goes quicker, if its not as much then it takes longer.
i think nicks rotation broke,.. cause if you click on a website it opens in a teeny tiny frame and you cant see shit, lol
Yea. I have phone phobia as well. I always avoid calling if I can, or make someone else call for me, even if it’s just ordering food. My mom had to activate my credit card for me. XD It turned out to a simple process…my mom said she didn’t even talk to a real person, said she just had to follow the operator’s instructions. Though, I’m not sure if it works the same in the UK. >_o
Yeah, I know what you mean about the phone phobia thing.. I hate calling people.
I also hate phoning people, and often get other people in the family to do it for me. The thing is, at work I *have* to speak on the phone, so I just have to grin and bear it.
2lbs is GREAT!!! You have to remember that you are working out, so you are gaining muscle [which weighs more than fat] and when regular people loose like 7lbs in a week, it’s normally mostly water, not fat your body can only loose 2lbs as far as I know a week. The best way to ‘measure’ weight loss I find is measuring yourself. Get a piece of string and mark on it the length around your wast etc, then in about a month go back and measure again and you can SEE the difference. Because your working out also, you may not loose weight, but drop dress sizes [like me for the past year] so yep, keep it up yay you!!!
Yeah, two pounds is actually really good!! Kerry’s right, all that weight that they lose is just water weight. If y ou keep doing what you’re doing you’ll start to see and feel changes, don’t worry too much about what the scale says.
And yeah i have phone problems toooo! I always try to plan out what i’m going to say and then i get flustered and mess up.. haha.
It’s sort of like taking off a bandaid. Hold your breath, try to get it over with fast, and once it’s done.. you’ll be really relieved! Good luck
the credit card thing… you don’t *have* to activate it, i never did cos i have the same fear of telecommunications as you. mines barclaycard btw, i just used it straight away.
fxxk phones, thats what emails were invented for…
