Well, today I sold out and started on my Christmas shopping, dammit.

Ok so I only bought a few bits and bobs and some cute wrapping paper, but I still feel dirty.

It has always been my rule that Christmas shopping does not begin until the start of December at the earliest…but heck what with my mother constantly banging on about it ‘only being a few weeks away ya know’ and the constant adverts on TV since the start of November I have been badgered into panic buying, thinking ‘Shit, If I don’t start now I won’t have time to get everything’.

I have let myself down :loser:

How about you guys? Have you started your shopping yet? Do you rush last minute to get everything? Are you already sick of the motherfunking adverts on TV? Do you agree Christmas starts far too early these days or do you think, the longer it lasts the better?

Most of the time I’ve always waited until last minute (meaning a few days before Christmas) to do my shopping. But this year? I don’t have patience for the madness and the lines, so my goal is to have everything bought by December 5!

However, I am ahead in some aspects - I have my decorations bought, and wrapping paper too!

My main concern is not time to buy things, but money! I am very poor at the moment, and have a few ideas of things I want to get for people. My best plan is to take my mom Christmas shopping with me…and her credit card

I don’t believe in looking forward to xmas till december! mind you I’m guilty of occasionally listening to a xmas song on the computer and looking at fairy lights! Also thinking what I’m gonna get people!

Ive already started shopping. It was agreed that I could have my main pressent now. So ive already got my pressent which kinda of ruins it. Ill wrap it up for the day though. I will probably have no pressents by the time is xmas. I won’t have any money either. Oh well.

I dont really think its too early. If you you live in like central main cities then now would be a good time.

I’ve started Christmas shopping only because I don’t fee like rushing at the last minute. When it comes close to Christmas, I don’t want to be out fighting people for the last damn Elmo doll. I want to be at home, with no socks on, and a cup of Hpnotiq and Pineapple juice. LOL! But yes, Christmas starts entirely too damn early. I saw Christmas lights up right after Halloween. But there is a possibility that they were one of the families that leave their lights up all year. *sigh*

I started my christmas shopping in July. During December I have to start save some money for Valentine’s Day, my mom’s friend’s birthday, and getting ready for tax season in April.
