Drum Roll please *attempt drumrollish noise*
The winner of the Mystery Object content was the lovely Matthew of Totallychillin.co.uk, go check out his funky site and say well done
Not much to say tonight, a few quick things though…people from the UK could you possibly post in the comments with details about the ISP you use? I’m so over Pipex at the moment and I can’t really afford it any more any way, so i’m hoping to switch sometime soon. I require at least 1mb speed, uncapped and under £20 per month! Got any recomendations?
Next, a few cool websites I have come across lately…
Milliondollarhomepage.com – dayum, who wouldn’t kill to have been the guy who came up with that…each one of those little squares is worth $100, loads have already been sold so even if he doesn’t make the full mil that’s still a whole lotta fucking money for not a lot of effort huh!
Gav showed me the link a few weeks ago and I said at the time I guessed there would be 100s of copycat sites within a month and sure enough, there is (http://www.billionpoundshomepage.co.uk, http://www.quarterofamilliondollarhomepage.com, http://250000.org)…people are so unoriginal these days huh? I wish I wasn’t so tempted to start one myself lol
Next up, the OneMileWebsite – A site that is trying to get a mile long list of signatures, totally pointless and random but also great fun…I signed in at number 89, you should sign it too
Ok that is all, Viki go sleepies now.

Horaayy..there are 11 comment(s) for me so far ;)
I don’t think that is a good idea at all! I can barely see any of those squares… I can see it getting really messy and people not wanting to buy space there because you wouldn’t be able to pick their add out of the thousands of others.
Maybe yeah, but by that point he’ll have already made like a quater of a million off of it (he’s already made over 70k) so, who cares? lol
Wow.. those pixelly squares are sooo.. interesting!
‘the lovely Matthew of Totallychillin.co.uk, go check out his funky site and say well done’ – that made me feel good LOL.
AOL is okay btw, but it crashes a lot if you use MSN/google talk. Prices are cheap-ish too
Congrats, Mathew!! BTW, Starlet, you should still do that Picture contest, even if you dont enter the contest again! Cuz that was honestly SO MUCH fun!! I entered it alot and of course I had been voting for you, even though that dosn’t matter now! Bye!
P.S. Sorry for saying you didn’t still your layout on the taggie cuz I didn’t kno that you actually DID steal iT!
Songbird, technically, Starlet didn’t steal it.
Good job, Matt!
o_O $100 for tiny squares? Now that’s just weird.
Oh how tempting!!
Omg Starlet! Thanks for making me the SOTM! You just made my day!
:)
Thanks again!
I really really appreciate it!
I’ve been with Virgin.net since ’99 and they’ve been great – I’m on their dial up so I don’t know whether the broadband is as good but their support is excellent.
[...] Translation – Starlet is switching broadband providers!! I knew this day would finally come, I have been with Pipex since December 2003, and I have been unhappy with them since approx…hmm…December 2003, I have been trying to move away from them for a long long time, but one thing or another has always made it so I had to stay…a quick search of my blog entries confirms as much, see here, here and here for example.
