Well, the iPod contest is officially over, begrudging congratulations to vm-online who won again. If you look at the contest page now you’ll see that it is offline for a few days, hopefully some serious changes are afoot and they are going to make the contest fairer for future months :crossfingers:
I sent them an email asking for more information about what is going on with it and once I get a reply I will post if here for those of you as curious as me (if it makes sense, the last time I emailed them to ask them to clarify the rules for me I ended up more confused that I had before I mailed them!)

I’m literally about to head off now and pick the 3 winners of the Months free advertising thingy - I wrote down the numbers (1 - 78) of all the emails on scraps of paper and they are currently sitting in my pink glitter cowboy hat waiting to be picked out :smileguy:

I entered my first code into the Win with Walkers (and I also have 2 more codes now, one thanks very much to Matthew) iPod contest and was pretty dissapointed I didn’t even get an email from them. What is meant to happen is that you enter your code, and win or lose you get an email soon after the draw to let you know - it never came, so even though I wasn’t expecting to win it still feels like I wasted one of my codes if you get me? Plus they are meant to post up the winners (see) and theres a page that is meant to log the activity on the site so you know when the quite hours are and whatnot (see) and none of this has been updated, I know it’s early days and probably just teething problems…but you expect better from a huge multinational company don’t you? The webmasters want sacking!

I went shopping today for shoes for the wedding, shopping sucks when you know you aren’t allowed to spend any money…I saw loads and loads and loads of things I wanted, most of it in the sale too…but I was a good girl and managed to only spend £2.50 on some pink flower fairy lights (come on, I only have so much willpower!) and I got my shoes for the wedding :groom::weddingcake::bride: (I don’t have to pay for any of it btw), they are just white and pink with interlocking straps across the front and a very very slight heal…they are pretty, i’ll take pics of both things tomorrow when i’m not so tired So I now own a full wedding outfit, shoes, magic knickers, strapless bra, nail varnish, handbag, hairpeice, dress and jacket - it only took about 7 shopping trips to get there :wreck:

You may have noticed I changed the Google ads here on swaymyway.com to BidVertiser ones, i’m not at all sure I understand how it all works yet and I need to read the Adsense TOS to see if I can use them in conjuction with each other (if yes I will add them to Plugboard.org too) but I seem to remember Adsense like to be ‘The only one’ heh. The main reason I have done it is because if the money is good with them then it will work out better for me, with adsense you need $100 before you can get paid, then you have to wait for the cycle, then it’s about another 30 -40 days before the cheque arrives, a few days bef0re it gets processed and i’m charged $18 to pay it in. With Bidvertiser the minimum payout is only $10 and it gets instantly sent to my Paypal…so…we’ll see how it goes, I have my fingers crossed
