You may have noticed I added the comment plugger hack Plug-in, how long it will stay remains to be seen…frankly I don’t really like comment pluggers but I can’t get the ‘TOP commenter’ Plugger to work so i’m trying this out. We’ll see how it goes.
I sent ActiveWebhosting an email asking them about the Terms and Conditions I was confused about a few entrys ago…their reply only confused me more :irked:
I’ve had about 5 different people read it and each think it means something different:
You will only get credit for hits that come from your domain that is
registered with the contest. We are very interested in anyone you find
cheating that is generating hits without the contest page being shown to the
visitor such as in an invisible iframe.
To my mind that means, you aren’t really meant to link to it elsewhere but they don’t give a rat’s if you do, they only care if the cheating involves ‘hidden’ votes, right?
My ISP is killing me at the moment :bomb: A few months ago they had a big change and they ditched the half mb plan I was on so upgraded me to 1mb but the price remained the same…I thought this was great…but the service has been shite since, I get disconnected at least once a day…often up to 10 times and about once a week i’m unable to connect at all for hours and hours at a time :thumbsdown:
I’d complain, but i’m one of those pussy bitch people who just allows themselves to be fobbed off and feels bad for complaining (hey, I am English!) - I’ll probably end up switching ISPs within in the next few months, that’s easier than complaining lol
Tommorrow I am going shopping to try find something to wear for my Brother’s impending nuptials, what I am going to get I have no idea…I don’t do posh/smart. The last time I went to a wedding I was around 8 years old and some how I don’t think the purple velvet dress with white bow ties on it would still fit :rotfl:
I really need to get something though as the wedding is only around 6 weeks away :hissyfit:

Yeah, we call them all sorts of things. I don’t like the word purse or handbag so I just say “my bag” when I talk about it outload.
As far as the confusion… I have read the TOS and the bit that you posted here and this is what I’m pretty sure it means:
You can place your link on any site you want to. However, they will only count hits that come from the site you registered for, ex: swaymyway.com. So, if you have your voting link in your LEIA profile for example, hits from that site will not be counted. They also say in your email that they would like to be notified of anyone who is cheating by generating votes without the visitor knowing that they are voting, ex: an invisible iframe that already has the voting link page displayed in it.

I think what the email from activewebhosting is saying, is that you can place the link/banner anywhere you want on your site, as long as if it’s on your site, because it will only count clicks from your domain.

In your last post you were curious about Aussie BB… well I must tell you this: Nadia from BB05 in UK is going into the Aussie house.
Also, I was in UK when that series was on and I can’t forget Ahmed when he was lying in bed going “A- Amazing. H- Hero. M- Mega. E-Easy. D-Delirious. Ahmed. Ah-Ah-Ah-Med. ALL OVER AGAIN! I watched it live on uplate and then in the morning and about 5 times during the day. It was awesome! (Can you tell I’m easily amused)
I wasn’t asking because I think that about British people… I was asking because in the US, they censor the word “fuck” on network television.

I love handbags! I had so many of them and would have taken pictures to post. I gave all but one away to my sister when I moved out of state. I had a big collection going on. I couldn’t take it all with me though.
