I really should install my Graphics Tablet again, I knew i’d get ‘over’ it pretty quick, but not as quick as I did. I never bothered installing it since I got this new computer :laptop: and that was in April…I only bought the thing in March :hyper:

I’ve just been coding my Calendar for August, I have no plans at all…everything on it is either a televisual event or an uncelebratable anniversary :loser: I don’t even have any appointments or anything, how pathetic is that? heh

I’m pondering entering that Free ipod contest at Activewebhosting for next month. Because of all the ‘drama’ surrounding it this month though I think everyone and their Uncle knows about it so 10000’s of people will probably enter, most with far more visitors than I get - Plus I feel like i’m jumping on a bandwagon, and I don’t like bandwagon jumping, up until my last amazingly dull coach trip i’ve avoided the desire to own an Ipod!
I think I will sign up and give it a go, but not allow myself to get too into the idea of winning because then i’ll be really disapointed when I don’t - and once it becomes clear I won’t be winning i’ll treat myself to a cheapy £20 generic MP3 player :mp3:

I will probably start working on a new layout soon, BB finishes in on August 12th so it will soon be ‘out of date’ - However i’m not relishing the prospect, i’m still very much not used to WP templates…the comment page has only recently started looking semi-decent (though it’s still got 4 major faults. 1. before a comment has been posted it looks all wrong, it’s only after the first comment that it fixes itself. 2. I can’t get the title of the entry to show up. 3. Theres an extra bit of green from my div class title and 4. The text of comments etc is too stretched out to fit in the boxes sometimes and you have to hover over it, then it moves into place!) and I havn’t even touched other pages yet, like the archives or catagory pages. Anyone who says WP is easy to customise, is lying.
Speaking of Wordpress…i’m looking for a hack that will display the ‘Top commenters’ but I don’t seem able to find one - Does such a hack exist? Also can anyone tell me the purpose of the ‘custom field’ thingymajig? And how about the ‘excerpt’ section, what is one meant to do with that?

I’m thinking of creating my own smilies, or finding a different site to get them from, I adore the Mazeguy ones, but practically every blog on the internet uses them these days

Plugboard.org - Still selling Monthly and Weekly stickies for half price. As of Monday though stickies will be no more, people have stopped buying them and I can’t even shift them at half-price now so I see no point in them being there (or I may keep them but offer them free in return for things/as prizes in little competitions and whatnot). I also added a ‘Link Dump’ - I’d thought about adding one in the past but couldn’t be bothered searching for a script, why it never dawned on me before that I could simply use my Plugboard script but have it display text rather than a button, I do not know :glasses:
