So when I got up today I told my dad about the spider…he came into my room and searched high and low for the buggar, moved furniture, had his torch out…spent at least 15 minutes looking for it and eventually we gave up.
I was still on edge about it all day though, looking around me everywhere I went, feeling paranoid and jumpy. Just a while ago I was watching something on my computer, barely able to keep my eyes open…looking forward to going to bed…it finished, I got up to come to my computer to turn it off and right there crawling up my curtain was my little friend. I’ve never moved so quick in my life :irked:
I went to wake up my dad so he could come get it, but he was dead to the world and I woke my mum up trying to wake him up and she said she’d come and get it…by the time she had got here it had climbed right to the top of my curtain and there was no way she could have squished it…so she tried hitting it to get it to move on to something solid…but we somehow lost it, spent 5 mins trying to find it again (well, my mum did…i was in the corner cowering the whole time lol)…then it JUMPED (since when can the bastards jump?) onto my desk, my mum tried to get it but missed…again it went into hiding and it took about 10 minutes to get it to run out again, it sat on my frigging mouse mat for a while and then I left the room cos I was so freaked out 
Heard a few good bangs and squeels after a few minutes and then my mum told me she had got it, phew.
So finally, my tormentor is gone…I had a crap nights sleep last night because of it and i’m far too edgy to go to bed just yet even though I am done in…I know rationally it was just the one spider which is now dead…but you know what it’s like, you see one and you imagine more…all over the place…waiting to pounce :biting:
Ugh, I know I probably sound ludicrous right now…but i’m very scared of spiders…and obviously the bigger it is the more scared I am. And that was one big bloody spider!
Gav has got the holiday snaps off his phone and sent them to me so I will blog about the holiday tomorrow…though actually we didn’t take nearly as many pics as I thought and the majority of them are of either a) the sea or b) me in a pub :duh:

I’m not scared of spiders. But when they are massive in size, I freak out a bit. Peter is terrified of them.
Hey… I know EXACTLY what you mean, I always grab a big book and BANG…. die bastard….. the bigger they are the more furrier they are… I can’t go sleep knowing theres one somewhere I can’t find in my room either… I’m scared it might crawl into my mouth when I’m asleep…. ugh… they suck….. and I know what you neab about the inagining theres more thing as well…. it’s just nasty bloody bastards.
Ewwie. I don’t mind them, Im just afraid of killing them or touching them. ew ew ew/
Eww spiders!! I know how you feel, I had an incident well actually many hahah but i turn out killing them. Once a spider crawled on my face OMG talk aboiut freaking out, I couldn’t sleep for a couple of days being all paranoid thinking more were coming. We have a lot of vegetation behind our house and thats where they come from, ewww I’ll be so happy when I move
.. But I’m glad you were able to get that bugger, cause I know I wouldn’t be able to rest until I got it. Oh btw thank you for voting for me thats really sweet of you and I really appreciate it.

I had like the UK’s biggest spider the other week. It was about the size of the palm of my hand..sitting on my wall…waiting to chose it’s moment to strike….scary…
However it has since buggered off, hopefully to my neighbours,
