Woo well here we are with Wordpress…an hour in and i don’t even know what i’m meant to be editing in order to get this looking like the rest of my site lol
Does anyone know where the heck i’m even meant to start? Can see it taking me a looooooooooong time to get this looking as intended 
In the meantime if you need to navigate the site the links are there in the sidebar. Ok that’s all….help
Edit Well, obviously i’m still having problems…but at least i know what i’m doing/what files i’m meant to be editing now so when i get the time i can get on with it woo.

Well, you need to get rid of all of this, until you’re right down to just text, and then include PHP includes to make it look like the rest of the website. Also around the text you can include divs to make it look like it did before wit the green, it’s pretty easy to find. Go to presentation and then edit skin, and look into the ‘Main’ tab. Make sure they’re all CHMOD to edit, though. It’s pretty easy to find everything after that.

Congrats on getting wordpress. I can see you have managed to show the entries on your site. The layout coding is a bit messed up though, the sidebar is below the content. Where exactly are you having problems? I can try to help
BTW you should change the blog url in your wordpress > options to your site url ie. http://www.swaymyway.com to show comments on your site layout only.
I’ve had troubles with WP too. It doesn’t help that I know zilch about PHP, but still. Pooey.

KMK.com has some tutorials and a premade simple Wordpress ready made template to use. I just downloaded it today, and I made my own CSS and VOILA! I had a cool Wordpress site! (but it’s a fansite not my blog – but will change it soon too).
Great layout Starlet! I’m a wordpress user myself (twiskers.net) and I’ve managed to master it lol. It’s not that tricky really, it’s just a bit time consuming when you need to keep changing stuff. Well I do since I take it upon myself to validate my site for some reason, probably because I now know it’s IE’s problem with the whole sidebar issue, even though I’m still trying to fix it because of all you IE users out there lol. Plus I dont want anyong to see my site look like crap. Full stop.
Anyway, by the way, your layout works fine in Mozilla, incase you didnt know ;D

Wordpress is REALLY simplke once you get the hang of it.
I’ve probably done it wrong but I’ve got a HEADER and a FOOTER and a page where the dynamic blah goes.. if you get me.. lol. so all my pages use the same header and footer and are all “fairy.php?page=PAGENAME”. I’ve probsbly done it different to everyone else.. but who cares.
